The National Ayurveda Day is being observed today. The Ministry of AYUSH is organizing a day-long national seminar on Prevention and Control of Diabetes through Ayurveda in New Delhi. The Ministry will launch Mission Madhumeha through Ayurveda on the occasion. The Mission Madhumeha will be implemented throughout the country through a specially designed National Treatment Protocol for effective management of Diabetes through Ayurveda.<br/><br/>The national treatment Protocol will be also released on the occasion of National Seminar.<br/>In this regard, AYUSH Ministry has communicated to States to celebrate the National Ayurveda Day in a befitting manner by organizing public lectures, seminars and exhibitions.<br/>Several State Government AYUSH departments have taken proactive steps in this regard and have planned for various activities on the day by providing free Ayurvedic health care services for the patients of Diabetes by organizing health check-up camps.
