The nation will pay homage to Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi on his 148th birth anniversary tomorrow. <br/><br/>Prominent leaders from various political parties and dignitaries will offer floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at his memorial Rajghat. <br/><br/>An all religion prayer will also be organised at Rajghat. A series of functions are planned to mark the occasion. The day is also observed as anti-leprosy day. <br/><br/>An Inter Faith Prayer Meeting will be organized by Ministry of Culture at Gandhi Smriti. Renowned Singer Padma Shri Pandit Madhup Mudgal will present Bhakti Sangeet. <br/><br/>In his message, President Ram Nath Kovind has said, Gandhi Jayanti is an occasion to rededicate to the ideals and values of Mahatma Gandhi. <br/><br/>He said, Gandhi's philosophy of non-violence and peaceful co-existence is of increasing relevance in present times. Mr Kovind said, Gandhi believed that Cleanliness is next to Godliness and visualised cleanliness as having three dimensions- a clean mind, a clean body and clean surroundings. <br/><br/>He said, achieving the goals of the Swachh Bharat Mission expeditiously will be a true expression of tribute and regard to Gandhi on his birth anniversary. <br/><br/>Fortnight long Swachhata hi Sewa campaign will also conclude tomorrow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a function to mark the 3rd anniversary of Swachh Bharat Mission.
