The nation pays homage to the Father of Indian constitution and Bharat Ratna, Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his 54th death anniversary tomorrow. A Special function is being organised in the Parliament complex in New Delhi, to mark the occasion. Top leaders of political parties and union Ministers will pay floral tribute to Dr.Ambedkar. A series of functions are being organised in different parts of the country on the occasion. Thousands of people from across the country will gather at the ''Chaitya Bhoomi'' at Dadar, Mumbai to pay homage to the architect of the Indian Constitution. Dr. Ambedkar preached non-violence and spread the message of peace across the nation. He also viewed as messiah of dalits and downtrodden in India. Dr. Ambedkar spent his life fighting untouchability and the Indian caste system and he was honoured with the Bharat Ratna.
