Nation to celebrate 75th anniversary of Quit India Movement tomorrow

Nation will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Quit India Movement tomorrow. A number of events are being planned at organisational and local levels to mark the occasion. <br/><br/>Exhibitions on Quit India Movement and Azad Hind Fauz will be inaugurated at the National Archives of India in New Delhi tomorrow. <br/><br/>The Quit India Movement was an important milestone in the Indian freedom struggle. Under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, people across India came together to uproot imperialism. <br/><br/>Seventy years of India's freedom is also being celebrated this year and the theme for a mass movement during the five year period from 2017 to 2022 is Sankalp Se Sidhhi – Attainment Through Resolve. <br/><br/>The Five Year period from 2017 to 2022 provides a unique opportunity of Sankalp to Sidhhi, towards building a New India. Hence, 15th August this year will be celebrated as Sankalp Parva or Day of Resolve. <br/><br/>Pledge taking, Quit India Quiz, the New India Manthan and the Causes one would like to dedicated themselves are the activities planned at organisational and local levels to achieve Sankalp Se Sidhhi-Attainment through Resolve.
