Nation sets eyes on Rail budget, Rail Minister hints it to be pro-aam admi<br/><br/>As the nation sets eyes on the Railway budget for the year 2010-11 which is to be presented in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, Railway Minister Ms. Mamta Banerjee hints it to be pro-aam admi. Speaking to reporters after giving finishing touches to the budget today, Ms Bannerjee said that it is dedicated to the common man who she said is our strength and asset .<br/><br/>She also met the Prime Minister today for what has been described as a customary inter-action before the presentation of the budget. This will be the second time Ms Banerjee will be presenting the rail budget for the UPA Government. Ms. Banerjee had earlier presented the rail budget twice during the NDA regime as well.<br/><br/>Last time, 121 new trains and extensions were announced, out of which 92 have started running and the rest are expected to start running by the 31st of March. Out of the 14, Duronto trains announced, 9 have become operational.
