Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday led the nation in paying tribute to former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao on his seventh death anniversary.

Dr. Singh attended a prayer meeting at the Andhra Pradesh Bhawan in New Delhi organised by the PV Narasimha Rao Memorial Committee.

Dr. Singh offered tribute at the late Congress leader's portrait and listened to bhajans for some time.

Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and Minister of State in the PMO V Narayanasamy also paid floral tributes at Rao's potrait.
