The Father of the Indian Constitution died on this day in 1956. <br/><br/>The day is observed every year as Mahaparinirvan Diwas. <br/><br/>The main function will be heldat Babasaheb's Statute at Parliament House Lawns in New Delhi this morning. <br/><br/>On this day, a large number of people visit the Parliament House complex to pay their homage and respects to Babasaheb. The function is organised by Dr Ambedkar Foundation under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
