The of revolutionary freedom fighter Chandrasekhar Azad is being observed today . <br/><br/>The main function was organised at Chandra Shekhar Azad park in Allahabad where Azad encountered with Armed Brtish police and sacrifised his life on 27th Febuary in 1931. Thepark was renamed as ChanderShekhar Azad park later.<br/><br/>Several organizations and political workers paid their tribute to the great freedom fighter and revolutionary leader and remembered his services and sacrifice. The UP armed police gave a 21-gun salute to the great revolutionary.<br/><br/>In the evening, a vehicle rally took round at different places in the city and culminated at the Azad Park.<br/>
