The Defence Minister A.K. Antony has said that the nation is ready to face any threat from any quarter to protect its sovereignity. <br/><br/>Addressing the media following air power demonstration in the Thar desert of Pokharan this evening, the Minister said that the country is safe in the hands of armed forces and were fully equipped to meet any challenges.<br/><br/>On terror camps operating on the soil of Pakistan, he said that Pakistan is yet to dismantle the terror infrastructure despite India's request. He said that 42 such camps are still active on the LoC. <br/><br/>He also congratulated the Chiefs of Services for carrying out the well planned precision attack demonstration of India's military might. The show was witnessed by the Supreme Commander of Indian forces Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, several military attaches of friendly nations and other dignitaries including the three service chiefs.<br/>
