A grateful nation is paying tribute to national martyrs Shaeed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their 80th martyrdom anniversary. It was on this day, these martyrs were hanged to death in Lahore Central Jail in 1931.

At a state-level function on the memorial of martyrs at Hussainiwala in Ferozpur district, Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal said that the sacrifice of these martyrs liberated millions of Indians from the shackles of imperialism.
