Nation pays homage to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on his birth anniversary today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said time has come to follow path shown by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and create an India that is developed and just, where the poorest of the poor is taken care of. <br/><br/>Remembering Pandit Upadhyaya, Mr Modi in a tweet said, he was a beacon of selfless service and an excellent organiser. Mr Modi said from the life of Pandit Deendayal, everyone could learn how an individual completely devoted himself to the well being of the nation and the service of the poor.<br/><br/>Mr Modi said, India's progress is dependent on how quickly it can free from the clutches of poverty and provide every Indian a life of dignity, opportunity and aspiration.<br/><br/>Addressing a function of the birth anniversary in New Delhi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that country's poor should be made independent. He said, the present government is committed for the development of the poor.
