The nation is paying homage to the martyrs of Jalianwala Bagh massacre who was killed in cold blood by Brigadier General Dyer on the orders of British government, 91 years ago on April 13, 1919. The massacre of thousands of unarmed civilian, who were assembled in the past in Amritsar to peacefully protest against the Rowaltt Act of the British government, was a turning point in the freedom struggle of India. The Defence Minister Mr. A.K. Antony, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Mrs. Ambika Soni, Mos External Affairs Mrs. Preneet Kaur along with political leaders of Punjab accompanied by hundreds of people from all walks of life paid their respects to the martyrs.<br/>
