Nation pays homage to the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 92nd birth anniversary on Thursday. President Mrs. Pratibha Devi Singh Patil, Vice-President Mohammad Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Mrs. Sonia Gandhi visited the Samadhi of Indira Gandhi at Shakti Sathal in New Delhi in the morning and paid floral tributes. An all religious prayer meeting was also organised at the Samadhi.<br/> <br/>A series of functions have been organised and several welfare programmes being launched across the country. The day is also being observed as National Integration day. In Allahabad, people from all walks of life are visiting Indira Priyadarshini's birth place Anand Bhawan for paying tributes. More than 4000 thousand runners took part in the 25th Indira Marathon held at Allahabad this morning.<br/><br/>Kailash Lakra Jaggannath of Army finished first in two hours 25 minutes 49 seconds. G.V. Patil, from Army finished second in two hours 27 minutes 23 seconds and Mr. Virendera also from army finished 42 Kms marathon in two hours 30 minutes 55 seconds. Sukanya Malla of Deoria won Women's title and Sunita Paul of Allahabad came second.<br/><br/>
