60th Mahaparinirvan Diwas or death anniversary of the architect of Indian constitution Dr BR Ambedkar is being celebrated today. Dr. Ambedkar died on this day in 1956. <br/><br/>Since then, Mahaparinirvan Diwas is celebrated every year to pay homage to him. A host of dignitaries are paying tribute to Dr Ambedkar at his statue in the Parliament House complex. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release a commemorative coin on the occasion. <br/><br/>A booklet on Dr. Ambedkar will be released at a function to be presided over by Minister of State for Labour & Employment Bandaru Dattatreya in New Delhi.
