A grateful nation fondly remembered the legendary freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai on his 145th birth anniversary on Thursday. Leader of the House in the Lok Sabha and Minister of Finance, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Chairman of the BJP Parliamentary Party, Shri L.K. Advani and Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Pawan Kumar Bansal led the parliamentarians in paying tributes to Lala Lajpat Rai in the Central Hall of Parliament House. Members of Parliament, former Members of Parliament and other dignitaries attended the function. <br/><br/>A booklet containing the profile of Lala Lajpat Rai, in Hindi and English by the Lok Sabha Secretariat was brought out in the occasion.<br/><br/> <br/>
