Nataraj declared BCCI Under-22 cricketer of year

Orissa Cricket Association (OCA) has congratulated state's opening batsman Nataraj Behera for being declared the BCCI Under-22 cricketer of the year. An OCA release said that Natraj would receive the coveted MA Chidambaram Trophy for the session 2009-10.Stating that OCA would felicitate the cricketer at the opening ceremony of Orissa Premier League (OPL) – 2011 on May 22 at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, OCA secretary Asirbad Behera announced a one lakh rupee cash prize for his achievement in the Under-22 cricket tournament. The dashing batsman from Rourkela, emerged as the second costliest player of inaugural OPL T20 tournament on being bought by Western Samurai Rourkela for 2.9 lakh rupees in the bidding on Friday.
