National Anti Doping Agency, NADA has given clean chit to wrestler Narsingh Yadav to participate in Rio Olympics beginning 5th of this month. The NADA disciplinary panel has exonerated Yadav from charges of violating anti doping rules of NADA. Speaking to media in New Delhi, Director General, NADA Navin Agarwal said the wrestler is a victim of sabotage done by a competitor and there is no fault and negligence on Narsingh Yadav's part. Mr Agarwal said panel is of the opinion that one time ingestion by Yadav was not within his knowledge. Later speaking to media, Narsingh Yadav said, he is very happy and looking forward to winning a medal in the Olympics. He thanked public, media and everyone who supported him and stood by the truth.AIR correspondent reports, after more than a week of drama which began with Narsingh testing positive for a banned anabolic steroid methandienone in tests conducted on June 25, NADA panel concluded that the athlete deserves the benefit its anti-doping code.The Wrestling Federation of India said the process to get Narsingh back in the Olympic squad has been set in motion. Narsingh had been replaced by Parveen Rana when the scandal broke out to save India's quota place in the 74kg category.
