Several developmental works under Mahatma Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and National Rural Livelihood Mission in such Non-Containment Areas would be initiated under the relaxations given by the Central Government.<br />'' <br />''Mr. Tomar emphasized that, States and Union Territories should perceive these testing times as challenge to develop and strengthen rural infrastructure and create employment opportunities.<br />''<br />''He emphasized that under MGNREGA, the focus should be on works related to water conservation, water recharge and irrigation in convergence with the Schemes of Ministry of Jal Shakti and Department of Land Resources.</span><br />
