In Gujarat ,Mr.Narendra Modi today took oath as Chief Minister at Sardar Patel stadium in Ahmedabad. Governor Dr. Kamala Beniwal administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr Modi. Mr Modi was unanimously re-elected as the leader of BJP legislative party yesterday.

Top BJP leaders including L.K.Adwani, Mrs.Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitly, Party president Nitin Gadakari, Rajnath Singh, Venkaia Naidu attendeded the function. Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa and Punjab Chief Minister Mr.Prakash Singh Badal also attended the ceremony along with all Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states.

Our Ahmedabad Correspondent reports that this is the fourth consecutive time, that Narendra Modi took oath as Gujarat Chief Minster. BJP has retained power in the state for the fifth time in a row after winning 115 seats in 182 member state assembly.
