Narendra Modi resigned today as the Gujarat Chief Minister to take over as the Prime Minister. He handed over his resignation to Gujarat Governor Kamla Beniwal after he was felicitated during a special session of the Gujarat assembly. Swearing-in of new Chief Minister will take place tomorrow at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhingar. Mr Modi will attend the ceremony among others
