Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi has blamed the Assam and the Central governments for illegal migration of Bangladeshis. Addressing a rally at Bongaigaon in Assam today Modi said that the Adivasi people of the country have gained tremendous development in BJP ruled states. He claimed that 40 percent Adivasi’s are living in BJP ruled states.

Modi denied the claim of Rahul Gandhi that small scale industries are being closed in Gujarat. On the contrary, Modi said that the state has achieved 85 percent growth in this sector while the national growth is 19 percent.
