Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi has said that the Adivasi people of the country have gained tremendous development in BJP ruled states. Addressing a rally at Bongaigaon in Assam today, Modi said that 40 percent Adivasi’s are living in BJP ruled states. He said that during the rule of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a separate ministry was formed for their development. Modi denied the claim of Rahul Gandhi that small scale industries are being closed in Gujarat. On the contrary, Modi said that the state has achieved 85 percent growth in this sector while the national growth is 19 percent.
Taking a jibe at the PMO, Modi said that instead of telling how many speeches Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh had made during last 10 years, it should said, what Dr. Singh did for the development of common people. Narendra Modi also blamed the Assam and the Central governments for illegal migration of Bangladeshis.
