Narayanasamy urges Tamil Nadu govt to act against Kudankulam peotesters

Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office V. Narayanasamy has urged Tamil Nadu government to act against activists trying to hold up work on Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project. Speaking to reporters in Puducherry yesterday, he charged the protesters with resorting to delaying tactics by asking for irrelevant information. He said, the expert committee formed by the central government has explained in detail the safety aspects while the agitators were asking additional information like the agreement between India and Russia and other matters. Mr Narayansamy said the central government had issued notices to some non-governmental organisations in Tuticorin asking them to explain their source of funds and their expenses.
