Mr. M. K. Narayanan, former National Security Advisor was sworn in as the new Governor of West Bengal. The Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court, Mr. M. S. Shah administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr. Narayanan at Raj Bhawan in Kolkata this afternoon. <br/><br/>The State Chief Minister, Mr. Budhadeb Bhattacharjee, his cabinet colleagues, opposition leader, Mr. Partho Chaterjee and other distinguished persons were present on the occasion.<br/><br/>
