Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi today offered a "chadar" at the dargah of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti in Ajmer on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr. Naqvi has also read the message of peace and harmony given by the Prime Minister on the occasion. Thousands of pilgrims have thronged Ajmer for the 804th urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti revered equally by both Hindu and Muslim around the world. A Pakistani delegation of 371 pilgrims along with two officers of Pakistan embassy have reached Ajmer yesterday to participate in the urs. The Urs commenced from Friday after sighting of the moon. It will conclude on April 14.
