The 16th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, NAM will open in Iranian capital Tehran today. The Summit of the 120-nation grouping will open with Iran assuming the Chair from Egypt for the next three years.

The Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will address the two-day Summit this evening. This will be the third NAM summit to be attended by Dr Singh as Prime Minister after Havana in 2006 and Sharm el Sheikh in 2009.
