Nalanda University Chancellor George Yeo today resigned from his post, saying that he was not taken into confidence while dissolving governing board and creating a new one. <br/><br/>In a statement issued by Mr Yeo, he was neither involved nor consulted before the decision was considered. He alleged that, he was assured of the University's autonomy , however things had changed now. His resignation comes on the day of the Foundation Day of the University.
