Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu has urged the Delhi Government and the municipal bodies to step up systemic efforts to make substantial difference to sanitation in Delhi through effective coordination among all the concerned agencies.<br/><br/>Mr Naidu today reviewed the performance under Swachh Bharat Mission in Delhi. Chief Secretary and Secretaries of various departments of Delhi Government, Commissioners of municipal bodies, Vice-chairman of DDA, CMD of DMRC and senior officials attended the review meeting.<br/><br/>Mr Naidu informed the top brass of Delhi Administration that the public perception about cleanliness in the national capital is still adverse and needs to be changed at the earliest. He urged the municipal commissioners to ensure proper deployment and monitoring of 65,000 safai workers stating that the output is not commensurate with the number.
