Senior BJP leader and Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu has reached out to more parties seeking their support for NDA's presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind. He has spoken to former Prime Minister and JD(S) leader H D Deve Gowda, DMK leader MK Stalin, PMK leader Anbumani Ramdoss and PDP leader and Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti over the issue. Ms Mufit has extended her party's support to Mr.Kovind. <br/><br/>Mr. Naidu also met Om Prakash Chautala of INLD and he responded positively. He spoke to Chief Minsters of BJP ruled states and its allies requesting them to be present at the time of filing of nomination by Ram Nath Kovind on 23rd of this month. The Minister also spoke to BJD leader and Odisha Chief Minister Navin Patnaik. While thanking him for his party's support to Mr. Kovind, the BJP leader invited him to be present during filing of nomination.
