Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Venkaiah Naidu emphasised the need to empower people with credible information on government welfare programmes. Addressing the Indian Information Service,IIS, Officers at Indian School of Business in Hyderabad today, he said the Union Government has only one agenda, that is of development. He said government has put more focus and thrust on development and Modi government has given priority for more governance rather government. He stated that Aadhar would help to avoid leakages and corruption in implementation of welfare schemes. <br/><br/>Mr. Naidu exhorted the IIS officers to disseminate information effectively to people on government's developmental activities such as PM Jana Dhan Yojana, Start up India, Stand up India, Make in India and other schemes.
