Naidu asks governments to focus on skill development to serve needs of changing farming sector

<span style="color: #222222;">Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today asked the Central and State Governments to make concerted efforts for achieving positive change in the Agriculture sector.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He was speaking at a programme held on the eve of Sankranti festival and also the second anniversary of the Swarna Bharati Trust at Samshabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Stating that Sankranti is a festival of farmers, Mr Naidu asked the governments to focus on skill development to serve the needs of changing farming sector. He asked people to uphold the family and cultural values of India.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking on the occasion, Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, Gram Panchayats in the country must be empowered by proper allocations.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister appreciated the services that the trust is providing for farmers' skill development besides women and youth on the occasion.</span><br />
