Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu today asked Delhi Chief Minster Arvind Kejriwal not to politicise the issue of alleged CBI raids at his office. Mr Naidu categorically stated that the CBI is independent and not working under the direction of the Central government.

Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Mr Naidu said, by making unnecessary comments Arvind Kejriwal is trying to influence the probe. He said, the government is nowhere in the picture and has nothing to do with the corruption case against Kejriwal's Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar and six others. The Minister wondered why the Chief Minister is making hue and cry if there is no wrongdoing in the case.
