Parliamentary Affair Minister Venkaiah Naidu today asked the Congress to reconsider its decision of disrupting the proceedings in both the Houses of Parliament on Lalit Modi episode and Vyapam scam. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Mr Naidu wondered why the opposition is running away from the discussion. The Minister said, tactics of disruption by the Congress is not a healthy practice and not in the interest of country's development.<br/><br/>Ruling out resignations of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje for helping Lalit Modi and Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan for his role in Vyapam scam, Mr Naidu said, they did nothing immoral and illegal. He alleged that the Congress is indulging in the unruly behaviour inside the two houses.<br/>Countering the BJP charge, Congress said, it is not running away from the discussion, but Ms Swaraj, Ms Raje and Mr Chouhan have to resign first. Talking to reporters, party leader Jyotiraditya Scindia said, the opposition is united on the matter. On a query, he said, the onus to run Parliament lies with the government. When asked that BJP is threatening to come up with more expose against the Congress-ruled states, Mr Scindia said, this shows the hollowness of the ruling party.
