Information and Broadcasting Minister M Venkaiah Naidu and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar Friday inaugurated the week-long cultural Extravaganza Bharat Parv as part of the Independence Day celebrations. Inaugurating the function in New Delhi, Mr Naidu said, the festival aims to generate a patriotic mood and promote the rich cultural diversity of the country.<br/><br/>"Earlier, Launching the theme song Tiranga Yatra based on Independence Day celebrations, Mr Naidu said, the tiranga yatra song captures the patriotic fervour and showcases the diversity in the country. He said, the idea of India is being reinforced through the song and it aims to promote brotherhood and the feeling of oneness among all the citizens. The Minister also released the list of activities that are going to be performed by various ministries."
