The railways has felicitated two drivers of the Nagpur-Mumbai Duronto Express for their alertness and exemplary dedication to duty in hours of crisis which helped in saving many lives. <br/><br/>The engine and nine coaches of the train had derailed between Vasind and Asangaon stations in Maharashtra on 29th of last month following a landslide.<br/><br/>Railway board chairman Ashwani Lohani said, the drivers displayed sincerity, dedication and performed like true railwaymen. <br/><br/>He felicitated Loco pilot Virendra Singh and assistant loco pilot Abhay Kumar Pal both employed with the central railway. An award of ten thousand was also given by the railways to Mr Singh and 5,000 rupees to Mr Pal as a token of appreciation.
