<span style="color: #222222;">In Nagaland, voting for Southern Angami-I and Pungro-Kiphire seats concluded peacefully at 4 PM this evening.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Addressing media persons on Wednesday evening, Chief Electoral Officer, CEO Nagaland Abhijit Sinha said, the percentage at the close of poll was 88.10. Pungro-Kiphire recorded 89.8 percent, while 84.41 percent was recorded in Southern Angami -I Assembly Constituency.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that the polling process was by and large peaceful except in Pungro-Kiphire Assembly Constituency where law and order situation was reported at a polling station in Singrep village.  Sinha said, all COVID protocols were put in place.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Altogether 8 candidates including 4 major political parties (BJP,NDPP, NPF, Congress) and 4 Independents are in fray for the two Assembly Constituencies.  Counting of votes will take place on November 10.   </span><br />
