In Nagaland, voting for Bye-election for the 43 Tapi Assembly Constituency under Mon district today saw a high turnout of 96.25 percent.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' The polling which began at 7 AM this morning in 23 polling stations under five sectors concluded at 4 PM. &nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' Nagaland Chief Electoral Officer, Vyasan R, said that the polling was incident-free and peaceful.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' With two candidates in the fray, NDPP candidate Wangpang Konyak and &nbsp;Congress candidate Wanglem Konyak are vying to occupy the vacancy.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' Counting of votes will be held on December 3.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />'' The bye-election was necessitated following the death of the sitting MLA and Advisor to the Social Welfare Department, Government of Nagaland, Noke Wangnao who passed away on 28th August this year.<br />
