Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Urban for Dimapur and Chumoukedima kicked off on Friday. For Urban Dimapur, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Tinojongshi Chang officially launched the campaign by administering the Sankalp pledge. He said, there are around 17 targeted schemes of the central government for Urban populace through different departments.<br />''      <br />'' Speaking at the event, Prabhari for Dimapur District and Deputy Director General of Shipping, Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Dr. P K Raut said, the idea behind the Yatra is to reach the unreached for getting the benefits of different central government schemes meant for the citizens.<br />''  <br />'' Sharing Mera Kahani Meri Zubani, Mrs Rita Gosh, a street vendor from Urban Dimapur, who is a beneficiary of PM SVanidhi said, she was working for the last 20 years as a street vendor without having any identity. But with introduction of PM SVanidhi, she got an identity wherein she now possess a street vendor's identity card and a certificate. She said, through the card, she could now avail loan and set up her own shop.<br />'' On-the-spot registration and services on PM Ujjwala Yojana and Health Camp were given to the participants and beneficiaries, besides screening of Sankalp videos.<br />''  <br />'' Similarly, the launching programme of VBSY Chumoukedima Urban was also held at Chumoukedima Town Council Hall.
