<span style="color: #222222;">Nagaland is observing month long Rashtriya Poshan Abhiyan in the State starting from today. Celebrated in the month of September every year since 2018, Rashtriya Poshan Abhiyan is the Prime Minister's overreaching scheme for holistic nourishment. Poshan Abhiyaan is a multi-ministerial convergence mission to address malnutrition with a targeted approach by 2022. It aims to achieve improvement in the status of nutrition of women and children. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Joint Secretary, Social Welfare and Project Director, Poshan Abhiyan, Nagaland, T. Nungsang Sangtam said, Poshan Maah will be observed in all the districts, blocks and villages from 1st to 30th of September with participation from the different sections of the society.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During the Poshan Maah, activities such as identification and tracking of children with severe acute malnutrition, plantation drives for promotion of kitchen gardens, child nutrition and Digital Poshan Panchayat which will be carried out at grass root level in convergence with Department of Health and Family Welfare, Social Welfare, National Rural Livelihoods Mission, Public Health Engineering Department and local administration.</span><br />''
