<span style="color: #222222;">After a gap of 14 years, Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) on Thursday launched four mobile Integrated Counseling &amp; Testing Centres (ICTCs) vehicles for Mon, Tuensang, Longleng and Noklak districts.<br />'' <br />'' Commissioner &amp; Secretary Health &amp; Family Welfare Department Nagaland, Y Kikheto Sema officially flagged off the mobile ICTCs Vehicles at the Directorate of Health &amp; Family Welfare in Kohima. Earlier Speaking at the launching Programme, Mr. Kikheto Sema said, Nagaland is in the second highest adult HIV prevalence rate with 1.36 per cent as compared to the National average of 0.21 per cent, of which Dimapur constituted the highest HIV prevalence rate of 2.20 per cent followed by Tuensang and Kohima with 2.14 per cent and 1.28 per cent respectively.<br />'' <br />'' Stating that the HIV prevalence in the State continues to remain static, he however said, it should be a collective effort of all stakeholders to create awareness among the people. Sema also suggested that awareness can be carried out during the seasonal festive events such as election, tribal festivals and others.Taking note of the importance of taking the medicine to the people on time, Sema said, the Department is planning to use drone facilities in transporting medicine to different parts of the districts.<br />'' <br />''Project Director NSACS, Dr Akuo Sorhie said, the mobile ICTC van is involved in outreach activities for HIV counseling and testing in the hard-to-reach areas or villages which are far away from fixed facilities like hospitals and also in the high-risk projects within the town. She said these vans are also currently covering all the district prisons and other closed settings, covering schools and colleges in collaboration with Red Ribbon clubs. The Project Director further said, the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society &nbsp;is committed to people who need it most through the beneficial use of the mobile ICTC vans in close coordination with all the programmes.</span><br />
