The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has issued a weather warning that strong monsoon activity such as incessant rains, squally weather and lightning strikes is expected in the coming week in the state.<br />''<br />''In a press note, NSDMA said that the entire stretch of monsoon trough is shifting northward including Northeast India. Moreover, a cyclonic circulation is heading towards Bangladesh and Meghalaya for which heavy rainfall is expected over the Northeast region including Nagaland.<br />''<br />''The NSDMA said, the weather conditions will get intense within the next two days for which the public are advised to exercise caution to avoid any eventualities during this period. <br />
