<span style="color: #222222;">The results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations 2020 held by the Nagaland Board of School Education were announced today. Girls have again outdone the boys in both examinations.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In HSLC, 8470 girls and 7210 boys have qualified the examination. In the Top 20 list, out of 55 candidates, 16 are boys and 39 are girls.  Out of 22,392 candidates, a total of 15,680 candidates qualified the examination with a qualified percentage of 70.03 percent.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Abhi Chakraborty of Holy Cross Hr. Sec. School Dimapur topped the HSLC examination with 98.3 percent. Palak Baid from Don Bosco Hr. Sec School Dimapur and Imlibenla Jamir of Fernwood School  secured the second and third position with 91.40 percent and 91 percent respectively.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">96 schools secured 100 percent qualified/pass percentage. Out of 96, 83 are private schools and 13 are government schools. This year, 34 schools have zero/nil result out of which 30 are government schools and 4 private schools. In terms of district wise performance for government schools in HSLC examination, Kohima district again topped the table with a percentage of 64 percent followed by Mokokchung and Peren districts at 57 percent. Longleng district is at the bottom with 10 percent. In respect of private schools, Kohima district is at the top with a percentage of 89 percent followed by Mokokchung at 88 percent.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In the HSSLC, the average percentage in Arts stream is 71.87 percent, Commerce stream is 75.47 percent and Science stream is 80.99 percent.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chumliba R of Loyola Hr. Sec School Kiphire topped the Arts Stream with 92 percent. Ichha Upadhyay of Christian Hr. Sc School Dimapur secured top in Commerce Stream with 98.80 percent while Anushka Bhattacharjee of Pranab Vidyapith Hr. Sec School Dimapur topped in Science Stream with 95.20 percent.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has congratulated all who have passed the exams. The Chief Minister in a tweet said they have reached a milestone in empowering themselves for the future. Also encouraging those who could not pass the exam, Rio urged up them not to give up but be persistent and try again. The Chief Minister conveyed his best wishes to all for a successful future.</span><br />''
