Nagaland has reported 79 fresh cases of COVID-19 today, taking the total count to 8,515. In addition, 2 more COVID deaths have been registered today.  So far 24 persons succumbed to the infection, while 6 deaths cases are not related to COVID and 2 cases are under investigation. According to the Health Department COVID-19 bulletin, of the 79 cases, 42 are amongst the traced contacts, 34 Armed Forces/ Security personnel, 2 returnees and one frontline worker.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Presently, there are 1,815 active cases, of which 1,727 are asymptomatic cases and 88 cases are symptomatic.
