Nagaland reports 310 fresh COVID-19 cases; tally rises to 4,946

Nagaland today reported 310 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of infections to 4,946. This is the single highest day spike reported in the State since the detection of the first three COVID-19 cases on May 25.<br />'' <br />'' Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet informed that 176 cases were reported in Dimapur, 127 in Kohima, three in Zunheboto and one each in Wokha, Peren, Mon and Mokokchung districts.<br />'' <br />'' The cases were detected among 164 Armed Forces personnel, 80 traced contacts and 66 Returnees.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, 10 patients have also recovered. The recovery rate is 76.66 percent in the state.  <br />'' <br />'' The state now has 1,134 active cases, while 3,791 people have recovered from the infection. 10 people have died due to COVID-19 while 11 have migrated.<br />''
