Nagaland reports 24 fresh cases of COVID-19

<span style="color: #222222;">Nagaland reported 24 fresh cases of COVID-19 today while 25 patients have also recovered from the infection. With this, the total confirmed cases in the state stood at 11,115.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom in tweet said 19 cases were detected from  Dimapur, 3 in Kohima,  and 1 each from Peren and Tuensang. The recoveries were recorded from Tuensang with 19 persons recovering from the infection, while 4 from Mon and one each recovered from Mokokchung and Phek, adding the total recovered cases in the state to 9,724.Presently, there are 1,218 active corona cases in the state, while, 57 succumbed to the infection. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the weekly COVID-19 bulletin issued today by the State Health Department stated that 52 percent increase in COVID-19 hospital admissions from the previous week signifies rise in symptomatic cases. It said the sample positivity rate remains high at 9.9 percent. The department also pointed out that households and workplaces continue to be the most common places of infections.</span><br />''
