After the Census 2011 of the state finalizes on February 28 last, the Provisional Census Report will be released by the Nagaland Directorate of Census in Kohima on Thursday. The Nagaland Director of Census after receiving all the data of the Census 2011 from every district headquarters, will release the Provisional Report of Census 2011 in Kohima in presence of Nagaland Governor Nikhil Kumar and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio. Nagaland has already recorded the negative decadal growth in the Data of Census 2011 has shown the recorded population at 19, 80, 602 against the population of 19, 88, 636 of Census 2001 report, which is at the rate of minus 0.40 per cent between 2001 and 2011.
