Nagaland: MP S Phangnon Konyak says people get accurate and updated news from AIR

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Along with launch of 91 FM transmitters in the Country, Nagaland has got two FM transmitter at Mon and Tuensang. She said, Mon District along with Tuensang are very fortunate that in today's inauguration of 91 FM transmitters, the two districts have also been included.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"> </p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">In this year of Amrit Kal, where India is celebrating its 75th Independence, the AIR station is a platform where we can contribute, and learn, she added. Stating that Information is a very powerful tool, she said, without information, one cannot do anything in this digital world.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"> </p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Konyak noted that Radio is one of the cheapest source of information and easily accessible, adding that one gets accurate news and update news from AIR. To this, she said this is a benefit for all the community of the district, as AIR will not only cover news but a wide range of programmes including those on farming and weather.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"> </p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">At Tuensang, in a short programme Deputy Commissioner Tuensang Nokchasashi said the FM Station would transmit information about locally relevant programmes, education, health, and social issues to the masses which can bring a significant change in the life of the people.</span></p>
