Nagaland joins in celebrating the 75th Republic Day

<span style="color: #222222;">Nagaland today joined in celebrating the 75th Republic Day. In a state-level programme held at Nagaland Civil Secretariat, the Governor of Nagaland La Ganesan unfurled the National Flag and took the Rashtriya salute from the 16 parade contingents. In his address, Governor Ganesan said, his Government is keen and committed to an early solution to Naga's Political Issue. He expressed gratitude to all the stakeholders who are working tirelessly to find a peaceful, honourable, and acceptable resolution to the issue.</span><br />''<br />''Governor Ganesan once again appealed to all the stakeholders to rise above their differences and to make a united final push to arrive at the eagerly awaited solution.  He said, the State has been an active partner in contributing to the overall development and growth of our great nation. Mr. Ganesan said, the State has been making good progress in several sectors, which are there for everyone to see and experience. He also said, the state Government is committed to holding the Urban Local Bodies Elections soon.  <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Governor Ganesan further expressed optimism and confidence that with the energy and cooperation between the Government and the robust population, the state can reach much greater heights. The Governor also called upon all to recommit ourselves to becoming law-abiding and good and responsible citizens of the country. Cultural presentations by various tribes of Nagaland marked the celebration. Later, the Governor inaugurated the exhibition stalls of various departments. </span><br />
