<span style="color: #222222;">Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom today launched i-Learn, a capacity building and performance tracking application for Community Health Officers, CHOs in the state at his office chamber in Kohima.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''The state government launched i-Learn application in partnership with USAID-NISHTHA/Jgpiego which will cater across the 189 Health & Wellness centers in the state.  i-Learn is a learning management system for CHOs with self facilitated learning for improving and learning new skills in clinical and non clinical areas. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Speaking at the launching programme, the Health Minister said, like any other states in the country, Nagaland has been impacted with COVID.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''He however said the state is committed to defeat the pandemic and as such it has rolled out several interventions including digital technology like the Naga Tele health services.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''He said the Naga Telehealth, a telemedicine platform launched just about six months ago has received good response from state's own medical doctors and CHOs wherein more than 1000 teleconsultations have been conducted. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Stating that the health workforces have been on the frontlines fighting the pandemic day in and day out, Panggyu said we must provide all means to equip them with the right knowledge, skill and expertise to fight his pandemic.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''He expressed confidence that this important initiative will enable to support CHOs in enhancing their skills and capacity in various domains and ultimately ensure provision of the quality and affordable health care services. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Director Health Office, USAID Sangita Patel said the platform is built on a unique architecture wherein every state will be able to monitor the progress of CHOs across Health & Wellness Centers as part of empowering them with new skill sets.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Patel further reiterated it's committed to support the state in all its efforts towards COVID19 response and strengthening comprehensive primary healthcare.</span>
