<span style="color: #222222;">Nagaland Government has announced the extension of the ongoing statewide lockdown till 18th of June. This is the third lockdown extension in the state. The state first went into total lockdown on 14th of May, which was again extended to 11th of June. State Spokesperson on COVID-19, Minister Neiba Kronu said, the High Powered Committee today held a meeting under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and decided to continue Lockdown till 18th of June with more relaxation. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, views of the District Task Forces, DTFs were taken and it has been a consensus to continue lockdown with more relaxation. Chief Secretary J. Alam in an order, issued this evening stated that the existing lockdown measures will continue to remain in force in the state with additional relaxations from 12th to 18th of June. Additional relaxations include permission to open shops and business establishments between 6 am to 2 pm. Shops selling stationeries, mobile phones and computer accessories, garages for automobile repairing and shops selling vehicle spare parts are allowed to open on alternate days as determined by the DTFs. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It has also allowed prayer meetings and fellowships in religious places with not more than 20 persons with strict adherence to COVID appropriate behaviour. Light motor vehicles including taxi and auto rickshaws are also allowed to ply on Odd-Even basis. However, taxi and auto rickshaw drivers will have to produce a negative COVID-19 test report for resumption of services. While bus service, two-wheeler taxi service and pillion riding will continue to remain suspended. <b> </b></span><br />''  <br />
